Animation Program

New for the 2025-26 school year, our Animation Program integrates STEM, art, and storytelling to create a rigorous, inquiry-based learning experience that sparks imagination and teamwork. Using accessible digital tools (specifically Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate), students design characters, script narratives, and produce short animations that explore personal, cultural, and community themes.

The course is co-developed with educators and professional animators to link classroom learning to college-and-career pathways. This after-school program strengthens academic growth through literacy, visual design, and problem-solving while supporting collaboration and perseverance – key social-emotional learning outcomes for early adolescents. This is for seventh grade and up, and this year includes several tenth graders.

This class is technically full BUT we have a hard time saying no to dedicated and interested students. Contact us at 575-425-0222 if you or your child are interested.
