For another academic year, True Kids 1 (TK1) is proud to partner with Adobe to provide the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software at no cost to participating students, teachers, administrators, and others from across the TK1 universe. TK1 wants to protect the privacy of minors and as such we require parent consent for anyone under the age of 18 signing up for the software.

TK1 provides this software to assist individuals across New Mexico in creating fantastic, fun, and important media. The software includes film editing software, audio editing software, photography editing software, and much more. Here is Adobe’s privacy policy; please read this to ensure you know what information about you is collected by Adobe.

If you are a student under the age of 18, we require parental consent for the use of this service. Parents must print, sign and return this form to TK staff in-person; or the form can be scanned or photographed and sent via email to: [email protected]. This is extremely important. By signing this form, you agree and consent to your minor’s use of the Adobe software. Here is the link to the form.

We collect the following information from you when you sign up for an Adobe Creative Cloud License:

• Name of Student, Name of Parent
• Age of Student, Ethnicity of Student, and whether the Student is eligible for free or reduced lunch.

We retain this data for one year from the time of issuing the license, after which time we delete all information. You may request to review or have your information deleted by contacting us at [email protected].

Limited information is shared with PRIVO, a children’s privacy solutions expert and trusted third party provider. PRIVO supports us to provide login credentials for the software service. To find out more about PRIVO please see their privacy policy here.
