For the 2025-26 school year, TK1 is taking our students into space. Or put more precisely... a satellite they build will launch into low-earth orbit in August 2026. So for this school year, on CEO Fridays (16 per year) and on Wednesdays after school, students will learn all about core astrophysics concepts, build and operate a ground station, and assemble different kinds of satellites, from cricketsats to CanSats.
INSTRUCTORS: Dr. Michael Garcia (NASA and the Smithsonian) and Dr. Jordan Alexander (UNM-Taos).
