World Climate Simulation – Taos, NM
120 Civic Plaza Drive
Taos NM 87571
TK1 will provide media coverage of the upcoming World Climate Simulation game happening in Taos, NM on September 14.
The hard news is that global average carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations have increased by more than 45% since the mid-1800s, from a previous high of 280 parts per million (ppm), to today’s 415 ppm.
Some great news is that New Mexico is taking steps to reduce its CO2 emissions, with Santa Fe and Taos leading the way. Remember that using fossil fuels is the major contributor to CO2 emissions, and our own Renewable Taos organization is growing a network of Taoseños committed to using renewable energy sources.
The upcoming World Climate Simulation (see Climate Interactive) introduces a global setting to address the challenge of reducing CO2.
